On November 12, the n-amine manufacturing system resumed production through the technical modification. After the operation of reduction and separation, the first batch of qualified products were successfully produced in the early morning of November 21. This technical modification was a challenge to section b, because of the hydrogen supply, reduction kettle and separation device. In particular, the key raw material, hydrogen, for various reasons, had to be transported by the torpedo tank instead of pipeline, which needed higher requirements in both safety and operation. The monitor on duty should be responsible for the replacement and adjustment of torpedo tanks, and strengthen the control of DCS to ensure the safe use of hydrogen. The employees of project B made concerted effort and gradually overcame the problems of unskilled operation and unstable pressure of hydrogen transport, but through training and solving the key problems, they finally produced n-amine products safely and improved the product quality successfully.
